Today is January 28, 2010, Data Privacy Day.  It is a day to raise awareness for information privacy.  Take the time to understand what information is collected about you, how it is used, and what tools you have to control it and protect it from being misused.

This is a great time to educate kids and young adults about the importance of protecting their identity online.

Being January 25, naturally it is Robbie Burns Day.  Who is Robbie Burns, you say?  Well, he’s the Scottish poet who wrote Auld Lang Syne.

Invite over some Scottish friends, bring out some whiskey and haggis, and celebrate!

The first Apple Macintosh computer went on sale on January 24, 1984.  This was a historical day in personal computing as we know it.  It was the first commercially successful to feature a mouse and a GUI !
