National Tartan Week is for celebrating Scottish Heritage.

Tartan is the pattern, seen on Scottish kilts, of overlapping vertical and horizontal lines.  We American’s like to call that pattern plaid.

National Tartan Week builds to its biggest moment: National Tartan Day.

April Fools 0

Apr1

It’s the start of April, and of course, with that comes April Fool’s Day. I absolutely love this day. It’s one of my favorite silly holidays. Today, do your best to pull one over on someone. It’s harder to pull an April Fools joke than to pull a prank any other day of the year – they are sort of expecting something. However, when you’re successful, it is all the more satisfying.
