The Chiang Mai Thailand Flower Festival is the Thai equivalent of the Rose Bowl Parade in the USA.  It is a three day festival with elaborate displays, great food, and a parade.

Today begins Las Posadas. This Mexican Christmas tradition begins on December 16th and runs until January 6, and celebrates the journey of Mary and Joseph from from Nazareth to Bethlehem.

Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) 0

El Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is celebrated in Mexico and other Latin American countries as a festival of the unity of life and death.

Coinciding with All Souls Day, el Dia de lost Muertos is November 2nd, however the festival started on October 31st.
